ResinSmart by RTi Global is a resin procurement intelligence and benchmarking platform. We’re not a traditional consulting firm and we’re not a data vendor — we’re both. Our platform is powered by 5B+ lbs of real buyer-seller transaction data and delivered by a small, senior team with 25+ years of resin market expertise.

 

We work with PE-backed and independent plastics processors across injection molding, blow molding, film, sheet, and thermoforming — helping them benchmark prices, manage supplier relationships, and make procurement decisions from a position of knowledge. Our clients have captured over $1B in documented savings doing it.

Senior Plastics Procurement Technical Advisor

Remote (US) · Full-time · ~25% travel

A client-facing technical and procurement advisory role for a plastics engineer who crossed into procurement — someone who can lead VABE studies, spec rationalization, and grade consolidation work while simultaneously managing benchmarks, supplier negotiations, and monthly client engagement. Engineered resin depth (nylon, PC, ABS, POM, PMMA, TPO, PPS) and hands-on processing application experience are strong advantages. Plastics engineering foundation paired with buy-side spend ownership is the defining requirement.
